Watch French Marching Band's Zany Daft Punk Medley For Macron, Trump

He found himself in France on Bastille Day visiting the newly elected, President Macron.

While the occasion is usually a highly ceremonial affair, French president Emmanuel Macron's first July 14 parade took a slightly unconventional turn, as he invited the Army band to perform a jazzy rendition of... The latter seems bemused by the whole thing, but Macron - a relatively young politician, a karaoke lover and an amateur pianist - is clearly into it.

It's a fun arrangement, and freakish to see house music played on brass instruments for a bunch of politicians. It is all très français. As the band continues to impress and wow as they wonderfully take on hit after hit, some of the moments you'll notice begin with what seems to be Trump giving Macron praise at the start of the routine only to later on in the performance show the USA president looking rather bored and unimpressed, giving off vibes that he would rather be anywhere else.

The French electronic duo may not necessarily mesh with Trump's tastes, as some of his favorite artists that the president has mentioned in the past include Peggy Lee, Neil Young, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett.
