Walmart Apologizes For Racist 'N*gger Brown' Product Listing

At first Walmart removed the word from the title of the product, but it could still be found in the item's details, where the color is listed.

The listing was active on both Walmart's main website, and its mobile site, according to several people who screen grabbed the image and shared it on Facebook.

'We are very sorry and appalled that third party seller listed their item with this description on our online marketplace. The company says the incident is a "clear violation" of its policies and is investigating the seller.

The owner of Jagazi Naturals told the Daily News someone copied her brand and posted the product with the insulting description.

The same item, which is used to anchor hair extensions, is available for sale on Amazon, but doesn't include a racial slur in the description. Many turned the use of "N***er Navy" into something of a joke, and the term was even trending on Twitter. "Please beware that we are reporting this to as many people as we can and trying to get all the listings pulled down". The real JAGAZI is a 100 percent black company for black people. Walmart declined to identify the vendor that was selling it. We are feeling the pain here as well. Please be aware. Very sorry for all the distress this has caused.
