In a statement issued to CNN, a rep from United Airlines says that Schoolboy Q's dog was being well cared for, and were hoping to have with pet and owner reunited by Friday night.

Schoolboy Q, whose real name is Quincy Matthew Hanley, told CNN that United switched his dog, Yeeerndamean, with another in Denver.

The pooch, a French bulldog, was supposed to be shipped to the TDE rapper from Denver on Friday (July 14), but when the rapper went to pick up the canine, he was greeted with the wrong dog, reports TMZ.

The carrier UAL, -0.40% accidentally flew the rapper's dog, named Yeeerndamean, to the wrong city during a layover, which provoked the entertainer's outrage, and threat of a suit, on Twitter.
