Panasonic P55 Max with 5000 mAh Battery launched at Rs. 8499

It comes with 5000mAh big battery and runs on Android 7 Nougat.

Panasonic India has announced a new smartphone in the country, the Panasonic P55 Max whose highlights are the massive 5000mAh battery and quad-LED flashlight accompanied by the rear camera. The long lasting 5000mAh battery further ensures the seamless functioning without interruptions. It will include simple to use profiles and keeps the users connected on the go, at work, etc.

After launching the Eluga I3 Mega smartphone in India in May, the Japanese smartphone maker Panasonic on Monday launched a new budget-oriented smartphone, called the "Panasonic P55 Max" in the Indian tech market.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, "In today's connected world, smartphones have become the lifeline drawing parallels amongst work-life balance".

Panasonic P55 Max features a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS 2.5D Display.

The display on the P55 Max is a 5.5-inch, 720p panel. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for making video calls and capturing selfies.

The Panasonic P55 Max happens to be a Flipkart exclusive and comes in two colour options; Matte Black and Gol. Panasonic P55 Max comes with 3 GB RAM on board coupled with 16 GB storage space, which is expandable to 128 GB via a microSD card slot.

The Mobile Indian reports that a new feature is also in the offering. On the connectivity front, P55 Max has Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-USB 2.0 charging port. Sensors on the device are Accelerometer, Proximity and Light.

If you don't care enough for the fingerprint sensor and would like to save a few thousand rupees, then you could choose the Panasonic P55 Max over the Moto E4 Plus.

As evident from its "Max" Moniker, the Panasonic P55 Max is being billed as a battery centric device. The phone measures 152×77.6×8.7mm and weighs 180 g.
