Eric Schleien, 29, a Republican who represents Hudson and Pelham, has been charged with sexual assault and two counts of simple assault, according to WMUR.

A New Hampshire state representative faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl last year, state officials announced Friday, Boston25News reported.

Schleien had previously met the girl at an Exeter cafe, and talked to her about politics. She said part of his bail conditions requires he have no contact with the teen victim. "She was afraid to say anything because she was afraid that he would become mad and would do something worse or not take her home".

He noted that Schleien has pleaded not guilty and is "cooperating with the process and expects to be fully vindicated".

If Federer, 35, wins, he'll be the oldest Wimbledon champ (though not the oldest Grand Slam champ) of the era. And usually it's her in these finals, so I'm trying my best to represent "Williams" as best as I can".

His arraignment will be on August 2.

House Speaker Shawn Jasper issued a statement Friday morning saying he is taking the situation "very seriously". "The fact that the accusations against Rep. Schleien involve a 16 year old girl is disturbing, to say the least".

Messages were left for Schleien and his lawyer Friday. The Nottingham Republican resigned in March 2016, a week after his arrest.
