Meizu Pro 7 gets teased ahead of official announcement

The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to come packing something "extra" and that extra part has been seen in the images its entirety. The PRO 7 will be announced at the Zhuhai Opera House on the 26th July at 7:30 PM China time.

We know the Pro 7 will offer the best Meizu has in its locker. Rumor has it that Meizu has chose to strike a deal with Samsung so that the Pro 7 will be equipped with an Exynos 8895 processor, but the information hasn't been confirmed.

After being the subject of a flurry of leaks and reports, the Meizu Pro 7 and the Pro 7 Plus will finally be made official next week. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat-based Flyme OS. Jeffrey has also posted some images, which we don't know are taken by the Pro 7 or not. The Meizu Pro 7 will have a secondary color screen at the backside beneath the two cameras.

On the camera front, the Pro 7 will be equipped dual cameras with each of them coming with a 12MP Sony IMX386 and IMX286 sensors which will be accompanied with a 16MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. The successor of the Meizu Pro 6 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor and is also expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen display.

The Plus version is going to boast a bigger 5.7-inch screen with Quad HD resolution and will allegedly come with three RAM variants at 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB.

Moreover, the device will come with a fingerprint sensor and will be sporting a USB Type-C charging port.

The Meizu Pro 7 is said to come with a starting price of 2,799 Yuan, which is around $413 while Plus variant has an entry-level price tag of 3,299 Yuan or $486.
