Job Biden book tour sparks talk of 2020 presidential run

Dubbed the American Promise Tour, Biden's travels are in support of his new memoir, Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and objective, due out November 14 from Flatiron Books.

Biden is expected to kick off his 19-city book tour for "Promise Me, Dad", on November 13 in NY.

Biden's book centers on 2015, when his son Beau died and he decided not to run for president even though he believed he could win.

Between the op-ed and the announcement of the cross-country book tour, the semi-regular calls for Biden to consider running for president in 2020 against Trump grew louder online. You can buy tickets for the tour and preorder Promise Me, Dad here.

The book tour is billed as a series of conversations that go beyond the 24-hour news cycle and 140-character arguments to connect friends and neighbors around topics that matter. Joe Biden is touring the country doing the "American Promise Tour" and is making a stop in Ann Arbor at the Michigan Theatre on Wednesday, December 13.
