Entertainment Weekly has scored the first official photo from Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, featuring Cyclops actor Tye Sheridan wearing a non-Cyclops visor (see him in the just-released new Cyclops visor here). Pictures shows Wade in his hideout, the only place he has to himself, where he enters OASIS with a VR headset and haptic gloves under the handle Parzival.

Ready Player One also stars Mark Rylance, Olivia Cooke, Lena Waithe, T.J. Miller, Ben Mendelsohn, and Simon Pegg, and will hit theaters on March 30, 2018. When eccentric billionaire who created the OASIS dies, he offers up his vast fortune as the prize in an elaborate treasure hunt.

Set in a dystopian future where the poor live trailer homes stacked on top of eachother, the story full of '80s pop culture references follows teenager Wade Watts (Ty Sheridan) as he journeys into the virtual reality game OASIS with the objective of finding a hidden easter egg but in order to do so, first, he has to find three keys and unlock three gates. So it's especially fitting that Spielberg signed on for the movie adaptation. Bruce Berman will serve as executive producer.

India snubs China on Kashmir; Says ready to talk to Pak
Indian and Chinese troops are facing a continuing standoff in Doklam area. It had accused Indian troops of encroaching on Beijing's territory.

Now for the Real Talk: I read a draft of the Ready Player One script not too long ago and was not what you'd call "bowled over" by it.

The movie is based on the book by Ernest Cline, who said that he never would've become a writer "if I hadn't grown up on a steady diet of Steven Spielberg movie".
