Police still haven't worked out the identity of a woman found dead in a shower in Melbourne's CBD during a bucks trip.

The men were part of a group from Sydney and the ACT who were in the city celebrating a Bucks weekend.

The group of men were believed to have attended the Geelong-Hawthorn game on Saturday evening, before attending Inflation Nightclub's Cloud Nine until 3am Sunday morning.

Detectives believe the woman is aged in her 20s, was wearing a black long sleeved top, blue denim shorts and white runners.

Two of the men told Fairfax they went out to a football match before hitting the town. One of the men called police after waking to find her dead in the shower.

Initially the homicide squad was investigating, but police now say the woman's death was not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
