Surviva song sets new benchmark for Tamil music streaming

Kochi: Producers of Mohanlal's mega hit film Puli Murugan has bagged the distribution rights of Tamil actor "Thala" Ajith's upcoming movie Vivegam for a whopping price, say reports.

Released directly on Saavn, the music streaming portal, instead of Youtube, the song was played over 400,000 times in just over 12 hours, according to a statement from Sony Music. According to the Hindu report, it is the opening song of the film and the rap portion is done by Yogi B. And with just the audio release, the fans have gone insane, imagine the hype when it will feature Ajith's powerful visuals to the impactful number. The 30 second teaser of same song which was released last week created a storm. It is a catchy number which mixed both Tamil and English lyrics in a rhythmic combination. A total of six songs will be released.
