The lucky numbers are 20-26-32-38-58, and the Powerball number is 3.

They will take home the tenth biggest lottery win in USA history, officials said.

The mayor of the Southern California city where the winning Powerball ticket was sold says he hopes a local resident has won the jackpot. The estimated prize is based on a victor choosing an annuity, which pays off over 30 years.

Officials say the retailer where the winning ticket was sold will receive a $1 million "retailer bonus".

"We're hoping they're a parishioner and they'll bring us a check tomorrow", said Blais, the president of the Sun City Civic Association's board.

Carla Fendi, philanthropist and fashion force, dies at 79
LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and Prada Group acquired 51 percent of the Rome-based leather goods and fashion house in 1999. The five sisters took over the family business after their father died, and opened their first Fendi store in Rome in 1964.

The store is just off a highway in an area originally developed as a retirement community. The victor will have the option of taking the entire $447.8 million spread out over 30 years or elect to take the lump sum amount of $279.1 million. California is one of 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, that participate in Powerball.

That massive haul ranks among the largest jackpot in US history, and eclipsed a $435.3 million Powerball win in February that went to an anonymous victor in Indiana.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 292 million. Both amounts do not figure in a deduction for taxes.

Saturday night's drawing is for a $447.8 million jackpot.

No one has won the jackpot since April 1, thus the reason for its large size.
