Ashton Kutcher brings a dead fish to the CMT Awards

Keith Urban took home the award for male video of the year on Wednesday night at the CMT Music Awards, and he credited his wife Nicole Kidman for all his success.

American Idol victor Carrie, who was up for three awards on the night, has landed a place in history thanks to this year's ceremony - she has now collected a total of 17 CMT Awards over the course of her career and is the first artist to have accomplished this feat.

Carrie Underwood has always been a favorite of CMT Music Awards voters, and Wednesday was no different. "The Ranch" actor brought a dead catfish on stage and mic-dropped the fish in front of the audience while presenting the Collaborative Video of the Year award with his former "That '70s Show" co-star Danny Masterson.

Carrie Underwood soon joined in, and the two sang back and forth with only Urban's guitar to accompany them. "I love making music".

The country star also won male video, collaborative video and social superstar of the year at the Music City Centre in Nashville, Tennessee.
