Google is even rethinking its entire computational architecture, the CEO said, building "AI-first data centers". These languages will also be supported on Assistant through Android, Google Home, iOS, and third party Assistant devices too. You can play with Find My Device right now by downloading the app from Google Play.

AI unnerves many people because it conjures images of computers eventually becoming smarter than humans and eventually running the world.

Today, we're opening Android Instant Apps to all developers, so anyone can build and publish an instant app.

Now, Google is drawing upon that treasure trove to teach new tricks to its digital assistant, which debuted a year ago on its Pixel phone and an internet-connected speaker called Home that is trying to mount a challenge to Amazon's Echo.

Google Assistant, introduced a year ago, is now on more than 100 million devices, according to the team's vice president of engineering, Scott Huffman. "We're not going to see that many new features - maybe some new buttons and dials". Now that is a massive scale to operate at, and as Pichai humbly stated, Google is proud to serve such a vast user base.

Another interesting new feature to watch out for is Proactive Assistance.

You can now make photo books with Google Photos. You can now share your Google Photos libraries ( either partially or in entirety) and Google Lens is being integrated to the app to recognise objects and bring up relevant information about them.

Gregg Popovich confirms Kawhi Leonard to play Game 1 vs. the Warriors
On defense, Durant, Iguodala and Green's ability to switch means the Warriors don't lose a step on that end of the floor either. If San Antonio wants to hang with Golden State, it'll need someone to emerge as a pleasant surprise in this series.

Now, Google is splitting up these recommendations by service, meaning that Netflix, YouTube and other apps on the platform automatically get their own row, or channel, as Google officially calls it. But it did tease some of its upcoming features.

Whether the two are related is yet to be determined, but here's what we do know about Google for Jobs. The first one aims to provide a more seamless user experience. Notification Dots is a new way for developers to notify users about about activity on the app, driving engagement.

Hands-free calling makes the voice-activated personal assistant remarkably useful. Or point the camera at the exterior of a restaurant and it will pull up reviews of the place. And users can always decide to remove a channel, or further customize the Android TV launch screen.

There is no denying the fact that Android is the world's biggest mobile OS. With this objective in mind, Google introduced Google Play Protect, a tool which will scan your apps on a regular basis to ensure they are malware free. The search engine company plans to add more filters in the near future, such as commute times.

Lens can be also used for intelligent photo manipulation.

Understand your app's Android vitals so you can fix bad behaviors, improve your app experience, and increase your star rating.

Android GoGoogle didn't talk about Android One during this keynote, but it doesn't mean it has forgotten about entry-level handsets. The report features more device test coverage including Android O devices, and new controls, like being able to provide credentials so your app can be tested behind a login. This feature is all about what Android Go is, what it will offer and why it matters. View aggregated, anonymized device data from people who have opted in their devices to understand three crucial aspects of your app's performance: stability (crash rates and App Not Responding [ANR] rates), battery usage (stuck wake locks and excessive wakeups), and render time (slow rendering and frozen UI frames). Opt-in for upcoming assistive services like app optimizations for APK size so the Play Store can deliver versions of your APK optimized for the screen density and native architecture of each target device type. The first Go-powered devices are expected to start shipping from 2018 onwards.
