Instead of going with the usual low profile presentation, Konami is going to make PES 2018 more family friendly with a cinematic presentation than younger kids will love.

President of Konami Digital Entertainment Masami Saso also highlights the game's esports features, such as "a dedicated PES League mode", which aims to remove barriers to entry and get more people playing competitively.

The fan favorite Random Selection Match returns with new presentation and features. Similarly, simple movements of the control stick can be used to initiate shimmies created to wrong-foot defenders. Experience life as manager in Master League with pre-season tournaments, an improved transfer system and new presentation elements, including pre-match interviews and locker room scenes.

The continuing success of the PES series as an eSport staple has also been reflected with the PES LEAGUE fully integrated into the main game.

But perhaps the most interesting announcement is the "substantial enhancements" that will come part of the PC version of PES 2018 - past releases having come under hefty scrutiny from the community for their less-than-satisfactory visual and content-based quality. Konami has assured PC players that their version of the game "enjoys parity with the current gen formats".
