Today, Vanity Fair posted a video titled "Katy Perry Goes Undercover as an Art Exhibit at the Whitney Museum", which nearly describes the actual footage therein.

Willing visitors to the museum were invited to be part of the installation and they were ushered into a room, where the spread created by "new artist" Katheryn Hudson - Perry's real name - lay before them.

'Is this the weirdest thing you've ever done in a museum?,' Blasberg asks the pop star before they begin.

Former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes died after fall in home
He was forced out last summer after former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson accused Ailes of sexual harassment in a lawsuit. A longtime confidant of media titan Rupert Murdoch, Ailes was a central figure in conservative USA politics for decades.

"This is not one of the most unusual situations I've met someone in", the "Roar" hit-maker said as staff placed fruit around her neck on a serving platter.

While a couple of the guests were seen telling their friends "I think that's Katy Perry", a lot of them appeared to have no clue who she was even after being told her name.

'Buy my new song, it's called Bon Appetit, ' she told the crowd once it was revealed she was, in fact, Katy Perry. And when one person does say, "That looks like Katy Perry", Perry jokes that she's Miley Cyrus. Last month she surprised guests in Time Square with cherry pies.

In addition to her own music, she will serve as a judge for aspiring singers on ABC's rebooted version of American Idol.
