On a lighter note, Depp, who portrayed then candidate Donald Trump in a 50-minute amusing or Die spoof early previous year, said that he'd be game to take over for Alec Baldwin if the actor ever gave up his "Saturday Night Live" Trump impression.

"I think they'd already seen Captain Jack a few times on the ride already", he smiled, adding that he felt visitors probably thought he was the "cheapest" animatronic they'd ever seen.

Depp, appearing with daytime host Ellen Degeneres on Thursday, played Trump in a 2016 amusing or Die video called "Art of the Deal".

DeGeneres was shocked that Depp had admittedly never seen Baldwin's take on The Donald. "And you want to look at him and you want to go, 'You won!'" He remains bitter and angry.

Luckily, Johnny Depp, who depicted Trump in a 2016 "Funny or Die" spoof, has volunteered to replace Baldwin should he choose to leave late-night comedy sketch show. "We had to constantly be wet, so this poor, lovely makeup lady would come come over with a cold bottle of spritzer and apologise and then just spray it in my face, periodically throughout the day", Scodelario told The Guardian newspaper.

'It's not just about being a rich kid or anything like that.
