Green calls for impeachment on floor of Congress

Hours after reports surfaced stating President Donald Trump disclosed highly classified information to Russian Federation, the New York Times, in its report, Tuesday, cited a memo by former FBI Director James Comey. To insult to the injury that he has caused by firing Comey under the circumstances that he fired him, he then decided he would hobnob with two of the characters that are the subject of the some of the consternation that we are now experiencing.

Green tweeted about his plan before speaking on the House floor.

The process is spelled out in the Constitution: Article II, Section 4 specifies that "the President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors".

"We should not be talking about these other issues, we should be focusing only on this threat", he said.

Republicans now have 52 senators, so 19 of them would have to break ranks and vote to convict a Republican president, assuming all Democrats voted to do so. Democrats should not be trying to take political advantage of this.

Meanwhile, shares in the more generally worded "Will Donald Trump be president at year-end 2017?".

In 1977, he became a Justice of the Peace in Harris County, Texas, a position he held for 26 years.

Impeachment proceedings are still a long shot, not least because they would have to start with House Republicans, and no Republican in Congress is explicitly using the i-word yet. He cited last week's firing of Comey - and Trump's seeming admission that he canned the FBI director due to the Russian investigation - as an act of obstruction. If approved, the articles of impeachment are brought to a vote in the full House.

· The President fired the F.B.I.

Garcia moving on from Masters win at Byron Nelson
Garcia will attempt to become the first repeat victor of this tournament since Tom Watson won three in a row from 1978-80. The only major on the schedule is on the PGA Tour Champions, where the 50-and-older set is playing the Regions Tradition.

Analysts are still debating whether Trump actually obstructed justice by asking Comey to drop investigations into Flynn.

· The President acknowledged he considered the investigation when he fired the F.B.I.

· The President made the F.B.I.

These acts, when combined, amount to intimidation and obstruction.

He added: "But whether the President's conduct is or is not within the letter of the law is irrelevant; there's a really good reason why, for generations, presidents from across the ideological spectrum have respected the principle of not interfering in federal criminal investigations".

"I was in the Nixon administration, as you know, and I thought after watching the Clinton impeachment I'd never see another one", said Gergen who served under Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, both of whom had faced the impeachment process during their tenure.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., told lawmakers after Green's remarks that "members are reminded to refrain in engaging in personalities toward the president such as accusations that he committed an impeachable offense".

Our mantra should be "I".
