Well when a call is incoming a green light ring will appear on the Echo device and, users will be able to answer, ignore or hang up the call using their voice. Your Echo will need a Wi-Fi connection to make calls, but the service is free and doesn't require a phone line. As you'd expect, every Alexa "skill" that's supported on other Echo devices is also available for the Echo Show. The camera-equipped Echo Look uses artificial intelligence to help users pick out their outfits daily.

A new feature is coming today to the Amazon Echo: voice calling and messaging.

Amazon has also added an 8th microphone.
