Amazon unveils 7-inch touchscreen Echo Show with Alexa support

The Echo Show has all the basic facilities of Echo smart speaker, like Alexa and always listening microphone but it additionally comes with a 7-inch built-in touch screen. You can do video calling with anyone through its front camera. Instead, the Alexa app on your smartphone will pull and sync your contacts, matching you up with whichever of your friends and family also have a calling-enabled Echo device synced with their own phones. The company then followed it by introducing the smaller Amazon Echo Dot, called the Echo Tap. Video and audio calls will be free.

The Show takes everything that is great about the current iterations of the Echo and adds the thing most wanted by users, a screen.
